Feline constipation is difficulty or infrequency in defecation. Age, hydration, activity, and diet all affect it.

Symptoms
Difficulty defecating, reduced frequency (less than once per 3-4 days), hard stools, anorexia, abdominal bloating.
Dietary Management
- Increase water (use fountain bowls)
- Wet food or hydrated dry food
- Fiber supplement (pumpkin puree)
- Regular activity and play
Medical Treatment
Severe constipation may need enemas or medications (probiotics, osmotic laxatives). Vet consultation is essential.
